Returns & Core Policy: RETURNS If you aren't satisfied with your purchase, or you ordered the wrong part, we will accept the return of the product(s) only if in the ORIGINAL, UNUSED/UNINSTALLED, saleable condition, and received within 30 days of purchase with 12% restocking fee. At our discretion, we may waive the restocking fee if you received an incorrect part, or received a part whose fitment is incorrect based on our catalog's suggestion. We are not responsible for wrong parts ordered. ALL RETURNS REQUIRE AN RMA number. PLEASE REQUEST AN RMA EMAIL at returns@bestsourceautoparts.com. ALL RETURNS REQUIRE THIS RMA NUMBER FOR PROPER CREDITING TO YOUR ACCOUNT. Please write it visibly on the return package. No returns on parts that have been installed (exchange/credit only), special order parts, shop manuals, repair manuals, quick reference manuals or tools. Items are not returnable for credit if they aren't in the original sealed container/packaging. SHIPPING Our costs to ship parts to you will be deducted from any return credit; this includes orders that qualified for free shipping. We do not refund shipping costs. Any fees associated with shipping and/or handling to return orders to us are the responsiblity of the customer. We are not responsible for shipper errors. Lost or Undeliverable orders should be directed to the carrier (UPS), using the tracking number. Please see our section on Lost shipments below for more details. WARRANTY Every item we carry has a 1 year warranty (unless the full part description states otherwise) from the date of the original purchase. Warranty claims will not be honored for parts that were damaged due to misuse, or incorrect installation. Warranty claims are honored on an EXCHANGE BASIS only. Once we receive and process/approve your returned part/s, we will send out a replacement part of equal or greater value. The-Best-Source.com and its parent company are not liable for any expenses resulting from a defective item. Return credits are processed within 7 days of receipt of items, so allow up to 10 business days from the date of return shipment for a credit to be processed. We will notify you via email or phone when your return/core has been credited! CORES Any cores must be in rebuildable condition with sufficient parts to rebuild said core(rust, corrosion, OK). Cores must be returned to us in the box that the remanufactured part was sent to you in within 25 days of original purchase, and must include a copy of the original sale receipt. Shipping costs for cores is the responsibility of the customer, unless otherwise stated. LOST/MISSING SHIPMENTS If your package delivery is overdue, please check our site for your tracking number and check on the carrier's website for tracking details. If the tracking status has not changed recently, or is listed as "exception", your package may be stuck at a shipping waypoint, or may have been lost by the carrier. Although rare, with the volume of packages being delivered, we realize this is a possibility. You should contact the shipper directly, and provide them with the tracking number and initiate a "trace". We are not responsible for packages lost by the carrier, but we know you need your parts and will offer assistance where possible. Once a trace has been initiated, it may take an additional 1-8 business days for the package to be located and "re-delivered". The originating shipper will be one of our 50 warehouses, listed as Worldpac. If after the 8 day period the package cannot be traced, request a reimbursement credit from the carrier, and have them send the credit request to info@the-best-source.com. Once the request has been approved by the carrier, we will credit your account for the order total. If your package is delivered within the 8 day "trace" period, we will request a shipping credit on your behalf, and reimburse you all paid shipping costs associated with the lost package. If you wish to have a replacement item shipped, let us know and we will re-ship it once the credit is received. Or, if your need is more immediate, you may place another order for the same part/s, and you must REFUSE the original package if it's "traced" and then delivered. Once the refused package is returned to us and processed, we will credit your account appropriately.
